Aluminium Woodgrain Slat Gate

Here’s the installation of an aluminium woodgrain slat gate in Mosman Park.

This style of aluminium gate consists of a western red woodgrain finish, charcoal frame and posts with no gaps between the slats.

The customer contacted us wanting their existing wooden gate replaced with a new, more modern looking aluminium gate.

Craftsman Fencing then designed and fabricated the gate, all ready for our team to install via bolt through posts.

As privacy was a concern, the gate had no gaps between the slats as well as the hinge and latch gap being covered to maximise privacy. The gate was fitted with a Lockwood Mortise lock and electric strike. The latch setup was with no handle on the front, but with a handle on the back as an additional security measure.

The customer had requested that the original electric strike be retained and used again. Craftsman Fencing took care of removing the electric strike, ensuring there was no damage to the electric strike itself or any of the cabling. This was then re-installed with the new gate.
