Q: What is ‘Punched Rail’?
A: Punched Rail is manufactured with holes for round pickets. Sadly a badly punched rail will not be discovered until the job is paid for and it is installed on your property. We are happy to provide a sample of our punched rail upon request.
Q: Is the powdercoating going to last?
A: To extend the life of powder coatings and protect any warranty requirements that may exist, a very simple regular maintenance program should be implemented for the removal of any residues. The presence of dust, grime and salt deposits is a major cause of corrosion and must be cleaned at regular intervals. Products in a coastal environment or even products encompassing a salt chlorinated pool should be cleaned every 2-3 months. A wipe over with a soft cloth or sponge using warm water and detergent will remove the dust and grime, while a phosphoric acid based cleaner is recommended for removal of bore water stains and salt build up.

Q: What height is the pool fence?
A: The standard height requirement is 1200mm. Our fences have a finished height of 1250mm.
Q: What glass is used?
A: Our glass is of the highest quality and has been tested by NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) and have design compliance certification in accordance with AS1926.1 Safety barriers for pools.
Q: What colours are available?
A: We provide the full range of powdercoat colours. The available range of colours can be viewed in the Dulux Powdercoat Colour Chart Brochure.
Q: Can the fence be attached to a timber deck?
A: Yes, for tubular fencing the posts will require special base plates to facilitate attachment to the timber decking. We require bracing beneath the decking to ensure strength to support posts. Any movement of the timber in the future can cause the fence to move.
Q: Do you have a product to protect the glass?
A: Yes. ClearShield is perfect for glass pool fencing. It will protect against corrosion and etching from contaminants including sea salt, salt and chlorinated water, bird droppings and pollution. Untreated glass is porous and as a result it absorbs contaminants and pollution which causes deterioration and discolouration. This deterioration etches and corrodes the surface making cleaning more frequent and difficult. ClearShield seals the porosity and prevents this from occurring.
